The rooms were large and well-appointed with a spacious spa and kitchenette. The loft area with 3 single beds was a pleasant surprise. The lush gardens and boutique-style pool and restaurant added to the ambiance. The location near the beach and eateries was fantastic.
It was all superb.

Within a walking distance of scarborough beach bar, where you can have lunch. Late check out. Late check-out;))

We had a great time during our romantic escape. The hotel was located just a short stroll from the beach, which was perfect for long walks. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had a variety of fresh and healthy options. One of the best things about our stay was the friendly staff who were always willing to help us out with any questions we had.
The room was a bit small and we struggled to find space to put our luggage. , the noise from other guests in the hallway could be heard quite clearly, especially during the night.

The room was comfortable and clean. It was also spacious and the spa was relaxing. I liked where the hotel was situated because it was handy to the beach and being a busy stretch of road, I appreciated the parking at the rear.
I found the room to have a strange odour when first entering. I needed to open all windows and doors to let it air for a while.

I recently stayed at this place and I was extremely impressed with the location. It is very close to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. I loved being able to walk to the beach within minutes and enjoy the beautiful views.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to all.

The location
Their No insulation between the rooms, can hear everything going on in other rooms. The door on the shower / toilet was jammed and could not moved once closed. The fridge had to be turned off at night so as not to wake us. The poor quality TV and was very hard to hear it.

We had a wonderful stay in a roomy, well, appointed suite. the location was perfect, only a short walk to the beach and close to everything. We enjoyed the lush green gardens, refreshing pool, and lovely boutique, style restaurant. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large spa, full, size fridge, and balcony.
The parking situation was a bit inconvenient and seemed expensive compared to street parking options.

breakfast was good
asked for a room with a view and balcony and got put near a busy service station....wanted to have dinner at restaurant and although restaurant was empty at time was told expecting a group of 20 and made feel like it would be a bother to serve us...not impressed...rooms a bit tired and need refurbishing....

Across street form beach, but it was raining so minimum stuff to do.
One of the day reception staff (lady) was not very helpful, so our 1st impression started poorly. Also shower was dirty and had lots of mold on tiles.

The hotel location was very convenient, situated near various restaurants and bars. the rooms were very spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. the hotel staff were overall friendly and helpful with directions to local attractions.
The hotel could use some updating and maintenance. the paint was chipped in areas, and the carpets were old and stained.

the hotel has good location but has deteriorated badly in recent times.
TV reception bad and staff ignored requests to fix; poor room servicing, no vacuuming done for a week; mould around bath and grouting falling out of tiles; ominous stain on sofa; chewing gum stuck to stairs
